First, and foremost, with Bernie Sanders for President, 2016, in order to remove Dark Money from politics.

Your city councilors, both Democrats and Republicans, are taking Dark Money from Republican Developers, to build Smart Growth Towers, and Light Rail, that you don’t want.  Like most Americans, my readers ever since 2009 still prefer to live in homes with private yards, not in tall, smart growth towers in congested areas.  They also prefer to drive or bicycle to work, not take light rail.

Furthermore, the only way to restore downtown areas is to bring back manufacturing jobs to our urban centers.  Smart Growth Towers intended for millenials and hipsters can never take back what’s been lost, from Bill Clinton signing free trade agreements into law, that sent our jobs overseas.  Bill Clinton destroyed our urban centers, setting the stage for the smart growth paradigm in the early 2000’s.  Bernie Sanders will cancel free trade agreements, and bring back manufacturing jobs to our dying central city areas.

I don’t agree with Bernie on everything, but bringing back manufacturing jobs is of paramount importance, not building “smart growth towers” with dark money.

I’m an old fashioned JFK Democrat / Ronald Reagan Republican.  As a child, I remember what life was like in prosperous downtown areas on the west coast, before the free trade agreements signed by DINO (Democrat In Name Only) – Bill Clinton.
